I had a truly fortunate childhood in that there was precious little of anything to be had. My solution was if I wanted something I would have to make it myself, and so I did. Everything from hand sewn doll clothes to crayon drawings on the back of discarded calendar pages. To this day I enjoy creating things.
My only formal art training was a drawing class and a painting class at the University of Lethbridge. College courses include fashion design, drafting and film making, as well I have taken personal interest classes in painting, photography and fiber arts. For one year now I have been a member of the Crofton Art Group and thoroughly enjoy the warmth and helpfulness of this community.
