Diana was born the youngest of twenty children and raised on a beautiful farm in Vegreville Alberta. Her interest in the arts developed very early in her life, as she watched her mother create lovely Ukrainian Embroidery and paint intricate Easter eggs. Diana has always dabbled in drawing throughout her years, but time was not always available, as she married, moved to British Columbia, raised two children while working in the bank until retiring in 2006. She would occasionally take a few night classes and workshops in painting and drawing with graphite and coloured pencils, gradually exploring watercolour and now acrylics.
Diana says "my experience with the Crofton Art Group has given me support and incentive to pursue my art career". She joined in 2011 loves creating new works of art. It has become an important passion of her life.
