Fay Hydes has been a member of the Crofton Art Group since 2015. She started with china painting from classes by Ruth Webb in Washington, U.S.A. and also with Winn Life, Victoria. This led to a twenty year enjoyment of painting on china. She also taught this art for quite a few years, only giving up teaching when she found that family life became too busy.
She has taken instruction in oil painting from Linda Anderson and is now painting various subjects in this medium. Florals being one of her favorite subjects.
