I moved to Crofton in 2022, and joined the Crofton Art Group in the same year.
I enjoyed drawing as a child, but never pursued any formal training. When I was twelve years old I sent in a drawing of John F. Kennedy to the T.V. Guide in response to one of their advertisements for art classes. Although I was too young for their classes, they liked the drawing that I did.
I did dabble a bit more during my high school years, but nothing really more until my children were all grown.
I enjoy nature, and that is what I mostly focus on when I paint. Most of my work has been in acrylics, but I am now trying out other mediums.
