Tony was born and grew up in England where he studied engineering drawing in high school with the plans of becoming a draughtsman.
Instead, he worked in inside sales and spent much of his time on the telephone where he developed an interest in doodling.
After emigrating to Canada and becoming an elementary school teacher, he learned to encourage his students while teaching art classes.
After auditing several online art courses with his talented artist wife,
he was encouraged to study and produce Zentangles and mandalas which is his main artistic activity.
