Title: Seasons Change
Inspiration:
This painting is a still life set up of Fall colours. The need for a fan no longer required, but not put away as a few war days may still happen.
The remaining jar after canning and the almost empty bowl of fruit
say a job well done. Hence the name "Seasons Change".

Inspiration:
Yuppo is a Japanese paper used in the advertising arena, and unlike the
typical watercolour paper, has no "tooth" or absorbency. So paint sits
on the top of the paper and depending how you manipulate the
paint, will depend on the outcome. This is an experimental piece
and I was happy with the finished result - a soft, loose rendition
of my maternal grandmothers delicate and colorful poppies.
