We just celebrated our 70th anniversary!!
Fall Show and Sale 2024
Our Fall Show was held on November 2nd.
Half of our members participated in the show selling original art work, pottery and jewelry as well as many cards.
Well over 100 people came and enjoyed the show. Many stayed to chat and enjoyed the complimentary coffee and goodies.
The shows have become a local social event that many of the town's residents look forward to with each passing year.

Spring Show and Sale 2024
At our Spring Show on May 10th we had a cake cutting,
with Rob Douglas (Municipality of North Cowichan Mayor)
and Rick Lebitschnig (Crofton Community Centre President) doing the honours.
The show ran for two days, and had over 200 people come out.
Thanks to all who helped put on the event,
and also to those who came out to support the show
Our Spring Show Door Prize Winner!
Crofton Art Group member Char Miller created, and donated, a lovely framed floral painting for our door prize this year.

The Crofton Art Group has two art shows per year!
Spring and Fall.
Held at the Crofton Senior Centre in Crofton right on the waterfront.
With a wide spread of media: oils, watercolour, acrylics, mixed media, acrylic pours
and more there is a lot to look at and choose from.
Some of our members have broadened their skills to include pottery and jewelry.
As such, these works are included in our shows.
Artists produce sizes from "teeny tinies" to large works to fill that important space in your home.
And for the less adventurous there are some very unique cards available in singles
and packages to send to those special people in your lives
or simply frame for that special place in your home.
Shows are attended by the artists giving you a lovely opportunity to meet, talk about their inspirations and media used.
While we have provided biographies, on this website, for you to learn a bit about our members
there is nothing like meeting the artist in person.

SPRING ART SHOW AND SALE
The month of May sees a celebration of spring with a full two-day art event.
A great time to peruse a variety of works which include:
new original work, matted/frame ready works, watercolours,
sketches, etchings, unframed oils, Teenie Tinies, cards,
original jewelry and pottery.
Meet our artists and
have a coffee, tea and cookie.
FALL ART SHOW AND SALE
The month of November is our "ready to frame" show.
This is a one day show and will be held this year on November 2, 2024
Just in time to think about and purchase a unique and special Christmas gift.
Big or small there is a lot to choose from:
matted or frame ready artworks of various medium, cards,
calendars, coasters as well as original jewelry and pottery.
A great opportunity for you to meet our artists.
